Name Day Celebration of Our School

Name Day Celebration of Our School

November 21st is a very special day for our school community as we celebrate our School Name Day, the Feast of the Presentation of Mary at the Temple. It is a day filled with gratitude, joy, and unity.

This year, students from the secondary, junior, and elementary sections gathered in the school theatre to celebrate the Holy Eucharist. With devotion, we remembered the great sacrifice of Jesus for humanity. Fr. Francesco presided over the Mass and shared a beautiful reflection on the significance of Mary’s presentation in the temple. He reminded us that Mary offered herself to God with humility and love, embracing her mission to become the Mother of Jesus and a living temple of the Lord.

The celebration was further enriched by the inspiring performance of our school choir. We extend special thanks to Mrs. Elli Vasiliou, our music teacher, for her dedication and the wonderful work she does with our students.

After the Eucharist, our teachers enjoyed a warm gathering over coffee, a lovely opportunity to connect and celebrate together. Each section of the school then continued the day with its own activities, including movie time for the students.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Sisters, Mr. François, and all our dedicated teachers for their commitment, service, and love for the school.

May Mary, our Mother, protect us under her mantle, and may her Son guide us always. May her humility and readiness to serve inspire us in our mission of educating and forming our students.
